And, this year the event will be featuring completely new services and workshops including ‘shop and drop’, ‘Make it!’ With Paul Peacock, free shuttle bus service and a ‘Family Zone’; fun for everyone! NLWA will be joining the BBC’s British plant pathologist Pippa Greenwood, James Wong; Radio 4’s "Gardeners' Question Time" and presenter for BBC’s “Countryfile” and for our younger visitors; CBeebies gardening star ‘Mr Bloom’! NLWA’s Wise Up to Waste stand, which will be shared with our wholly owned company, LondonWaste Ltd, will be exhibiting lots of encouraging information on how to tackle food waste.
Other partners and exhibitors at the event, include the Wildlife Trust, the National Allotment Society, the British Beekeepers Association, the Chicken Coop, amongst many other well known names in the industry.
NLWA will be showing visitors how easy it is to Wise Up To Waste to tackle food waste – from preventing food waste, to recycling and composting it. Information about where to get hold of LondonWaste Ltd compost will be available and our Waste Prevention team will be on hand to give advice about reducing your food waste and free tools to help you prevent it.
